"Just nine miles south of Edinburgh on the Peebles Road, Glencorse is a well-established, picturesque parkland course with a number of neat little challenges that will keep you on your toes throughout your round. The course has honed the talents of several Scottish players through the years, such as Walker Cup captain and player George McGregor. It might be short, but it lacks nothing in spirit. With only one par three less than 200 yards, consistent long iron players will fare best. The par three fifth at 237-yards, which includes a 200-yard carry over a burn, is the most striking hole on the course and caused many card to be ripped in anger" - www.scottishgolfcourses.com
